Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document patient health changes accurately
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision per state protocols
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance patient wellbeing
- Maintain clean and safe environments for patients and staff
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Transport patients to medical appointments as needed
Qualifications
- Active Kansas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of professional caregiving experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Valid Kansas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
