Your Role:
In this part-time position, you will support our nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to our patients. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and well-being during their stay.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and daily health status.
- Assist with mobility and transfer of patients to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses.
- Respond promptly to patient requests and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Ohio.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR/BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
