Your Role:
As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and ensure our residents/patients maintain the highest quality of life. This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the Oklahoma City community every day.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and nutritional needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Possess a current and valid Oklahoma CNA Certification (Required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but we welcome motivated candidates eager to learn.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
