Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, with dignity and respect.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any deviations to the nursing staff.
- Provide safe and comfortable patient transfers and mobility support.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure cohesive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and changes in condition.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff at all times.
- Follow infection control protocols and healthcare facility policies strictly.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or State Tested Nurse Assistant (STNA) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is a plus.
