Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs: Accurately monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Hygiene: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents.
- Communication: Effectively communicate changes in resident conditions to the nursing staff and families.
- Assistance: Support residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics.
- Documentation: Complete accurate documentation of care plans and daily progress notes.
- Meal Service: Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current, valid State of Arizona CNA Certification (CNA License) required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living is preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- License: Valid Driver's License (if applicable for transportation duties).
- Attitude: Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented professional attitude.
