Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and daily health status accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including walking and transfers using proper techniques.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment according to hospital standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff regarding patient needs.
- Assist with feeding patients who require assistance and document intake.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Massachusetts CNA certification (MA CNA license).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
