Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse immediately.
- Assist with mobility and safely transfer patients using proper body mechanics.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the wider healthcare team.
- Assist with light meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or home care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented demeanor.
