Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as required.
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during medical procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary patient environment in accordance with health department standards.
- Administer prescribed medications and document all treatments and patient responses.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients (up to 50 lbs) with assistance.
- Experience in a clinical or home health setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
