Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor Health: Observe and report changes in patient behavior, mood, or physical condition to the nursing staff.
- Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Medication Support: Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Certification: Active and current Florida CNA Certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
- License: Valid FL State Driver's License is a plus.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Attitude: Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented.
