Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient assessments via phone and in-person triage
- Prioritize patient cases using emergency protocols and clinical judgment
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop treatment plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in EHR systems
- Provide clear medical instructions and patient education
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong proficiency in Epic or similar EHR platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently in dynamic situations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
