Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfer activities to prevent falls and injuries.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and charge nurse immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer prescribed medications and document intake accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Florida CNA license.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR/BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
