Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, in accordance with care plans.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately and timely.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including walking and transferring to beds or wheelchairs.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, ensuring their comfort and privacy.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Assist with feeding and providing emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license in the state of Nevada.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients safely.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
