Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature) accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with RNs and LPNs to implement and update patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care updates and concerns.
- Document all patient interactions and care provided in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current, valid California CNA license and registration.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) or willingness to obtain.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
