Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Provide basic wound care and assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques.
- Communicate effectively with nurses and physicians regarding patient conditions and changes in status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and visitors.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Valid and current North Carolina CNA Certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a CNA preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
