Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and implement nursing care plans under the supervision of charge nurses and physicians.
- Monitor patient health and record vital signs, medical history, and information.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Document patient care services, including intake and outcome, in medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Respond to emergency situations with calmness, efficiency, and adherence to hospital protocols.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) to track patient progress and communicate updates.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (Associate, BSN, or ASN).
- Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
