Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide basic personal care and hygiene support to ensure patient comfort.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members regarding patient status.
- Document patient care plans and progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA certification issued by the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
