Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and health history assessments during night rounds.
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with procedures and examinations.
- Maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems accurately and timely.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers.
- Coordinate patient follow-ups and ensure seamless communication with day shift staff.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
- Strong ability to work independently and effectively during night shifts.
- Proficiency in EMR software (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
