Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient conditions, and report changes to nursing staff
- Ensure patient comfort and safety by maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Administer basic treatments and medications as per hospital protocols
- Document patient observations and care provided accurately in medical records
Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of acute care or hospital experience
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
