Responsibilities
- Delight residents with compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document vital signs, dietary intake, and behavioral changes
- Assist with mobility transfers, ambulation, and restorative exercises
- Administer prescribed medications under proper supervision protocols
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments through proper sanitation practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance resident quality of life
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent long-term care or hospital experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Exceptional communication skills with residents, families, and staff
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and TB screening
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
