Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures, including instrument preparation and patient monitoring
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols to ensure safety
- Manage patient scheduling, charting, and electronic records
- Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and materials efficiently
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-treatment care
- Coordinate with front desk staff for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or radiology permit in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental office
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis, Sirona preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Detail-oriented with high standards for patient safety
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends
