Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and triage calls using clinical judgment protocols
- Accurately prioritize patients based on acuity levels and established guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EMR) documentation
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways and resources
- Manage high-volume call center operations during peak hours
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee (or compact state)
- Recent nursing graduate or 0-2 years clinical experience
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in fast-paced settings
- Strong computer proficiency with EMR systems
