Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take dental impressions and X-rays following safety protocols
- Manage patient charts and digital record systems
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Ensure operatory cleanliness and infection control standards
- Coordinate treatment scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (RDA or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and charting software
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental sterilization protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
