Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienist during examinations, procedures, and cleanings.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up equipment.
- Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays (Radiographs) as directed.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Manage patient records, charting, and insurance verification.
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and oral hygiene.
- Assist with front desk duties including appointment scheduling when needed.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant Certification (RDA) or equivalent state license.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix).
