Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following OSHA protocols
- Assist dentists during procedures including chairside support and instrument transfer
- Take accurate dental X-rays and process digital radiographs
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Epic software
- Provide post-operative instructions and comfort care
- Coordinate inventory and order dental supplies
- Ensure immaculate clinic sanitation and infection control
Qualifications
- Current RDA or DA license in California
- 1+ years of dental assisting experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental software
- Exceptional communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work 3-4 days per week (including Saturdays)
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent required
