Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Assist dentists during procedures including oral surgery and restorations
- Take accurate dental X-rays and maintain patient records
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Provide chairside assistance with patient comfort and anxiety management
- Ensure strict OSHA and HIPAA compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or RDA license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- X-ray certification and CPR/BLS certification
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends
