Position Highlights:
As a Surgical Technologist, you'll play a critical role in patient care by ensuring sterile environments and assisting during complex procedures. We offer flexible scheduling, continuing education support, and a collaborative team environment that values your expertise.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile fields, instruments, and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and implement infection control protocols
- Count and account for all surgical instruments and supplies pre/post-procedure
- Prepare and transport patients safely to/from surgical suites
- Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical equipment per facility standards
- Document procedural information accurately and timely
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification
- Minimum 1 year recent surgical tech experience preferred
- Knowledge of sterile processing and aseptic techniques
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced surgical environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/on-call
