Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per OSHA standards
- Take dental X-rays and develop diagnostic images
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Order inventory and maintain dental supplies
- Ensure clinic cleanliness and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or RDA license (AZ)
- 1+ years clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency with digital X-ray systems and dental software
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and OSHA guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Spanish bilingual a plus
