Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Prepare patients for treatment, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort throughout the visit.
- Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, providing necessary instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
- Radiography: Capture high-quality dental x-rays (digital) and ensure proper patient positioning and safety protocols.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to OSHA and CDC guidelines for sterilization and infection prevention in the operatory.
- Administrative Support: Manage patient records, update charts, and handle appointment scheduling as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily checks and basic maintenance of dental equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current RDA or DA certification and a valid Arizona State License.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in dental software and modern radiography equipment.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
