Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Manage patient records and digital charting
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and maintain supply organization
- Coordinate with front desk for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Dental assisting certification or X-ray license (TX state)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in dental office
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient interactions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience with digital imaging software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
