Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, medication schedules, and general health status.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and light exercises to ensure safety.
- Offer companionship and emotional support through conversation and shared activities.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living environment for all clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in elderly care or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
