Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinators
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping duties and maintain safe living environments
- Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance client well-being
- Document care activities accurately using our digital care system
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background checks and health screening
- Compassionate nature with patience for seniors with diverse needs
- Strong communication skills and reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
