Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to ensure clients feel happy and secure.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and running errands as needed.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition or medication side effects to the Care Manager immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and community outings.
- Administer medications and personal care plans as directed by the registered nurse.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the client.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA or HHA certification preferred.
- Valid Washington State driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
- Previous experience in home health, assisted living, or caregiving is a plus but not mandatory (paid training provided).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- A compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
