Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per OSHA standards
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and develop film/digital images
- Manage patient charts and update electronic health records
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and maintain dental supply organization
- Coordinate with front office staff for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active RDA license in California or DANB certification
- 1+ years of chairside dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR certification required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingual preferred for diverse patient population
