Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Take and process dental X-rays (digital radiography) and intraoral photographs.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient procedures.
- Manage patient intake and check-in processes efficiently.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) certification (or equivalent state license).
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and modern office equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient comfort.
- CPR and BLS certification (Basic Life Support) is required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work well in a fast-paced environment.
