Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals while accommodating dietary restrictions
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs as directed
- Light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying, meal cleanup)
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Maintain accurate care notes and report changes in client condition
Qualifications
- Florida HHA certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation with proof of insurance
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly/disabled clients
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
