Key Responsibilities:
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and package prescription orders for patients and healthcare providers.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering supplies and checking stock levels.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient questions regarding prescriptions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and state pharmacy laws.
• Process insurance claims and resolve billing inquiries in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn new software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for occasional deliveries if required).
• Willingness to obtain Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) or register with the BOP upon hiring.
