Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring their dignity and comfort.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Administer medication reminders and accurately document daily care logs and vital signs.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, and social outings using personal vehicle.
- Monitor the client's condition and promptly report any changes, concerns, or emergencies to the nursing supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is strongly preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to assist with lifting and mobility assistance when necessary.
