Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature) as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Medication Support: Remind clients to take medication at the scheduled times.
- Companionship: Provide social interaction, conversation, and emotional support to reduce isolation.
- Housekeeping: Assist with light meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry to ensure a safe living environment.
- Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, social outings, or errands.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely daily logs regarding patient status and care provided.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) license.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR): Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and assist patients (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks.
- Attitude: Compassionate, patient, and dependable professional demeanor.
