Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in patient behavior, mood, and physical condition to the nursing staff.
- Medication Assistance: Remind clients to take prescribed medications on time and document administration.
- Companionship: Engage clients in social activities, conversation, and hobbies to promote mental well-being.
- Household Support: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning as assigned.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments or social outings using your personal vehicle.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; certification as a CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in home health or personal care is preferred but not mandatory.
- License: Valid driver's license and current auto insurance required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Physical: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods as required by the job.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
