Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitoring: Observe and report changes in client physical or emotional condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
- Household Support: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning as assigned.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or social outings.
- Vital Signs: Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration) as directed.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and move patients (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
