Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Monitor and record vital signs and daily health status.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and errands.
- Follow all safety protocols and care plans established by the nurse or case manager.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certificate or state licensure as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Compassionate, patient, and patient-oriented demeanor.
