As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in helping patients maintain their independence and dignity while receiving the medical support they need.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor patient health status and report any changes, concerns, or improvements to the supervising nurse.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for our clients.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Administer medication and track vital signs as directed by the specific care plan.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and provide transportation support.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or HHA certification required by Texas state regulations.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical assessment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
