Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs measurements and accurate patient documentation
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain medical inventory
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Schedule appointments and manage electronic health records (EHR)
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and electrocardiograms
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Accredited Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA preferred)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems and medical terminology
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced medical environments
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
