Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Administer injections, medications, and perform ECGs per protocols
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Sterilize equipment and maintain clinical inventory
- Handle insurance verifications and basic billing tasks
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Coordinate referrals and communicate with specialists
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Washington state MA license in good standing
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week, including weekends
