Responsibilities
- Greet patients and verify their information upon arrival to the facility.
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Record patient medical histories, symptoms, and vital signs accurately.
- Prepare patients for exams and instruct them on pre-test procedures.
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as directed by a licensed provider.
- Manage incoming calls and schedule patient appointments efficiently.
- Maintain clean and sterile examination rooms and medical equipment.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is strongly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess a professional demeanor.
