Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Greet patients warmly, verify insurance, and prepare them for examinations with accuracy and empathy.
- Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight, height).
- Clinical Support: Assist providers with minor procedures, injections, and wound care as directed.
- Admin Duties: Manage electronic health records (EHR), schedule appointments, and handle billing inquiries efficiently.
- Communication: Act as the liaison between patients, nurses, and physicians to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Hygiene Maintenance: Ensure exam rooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary medical supplies.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or MA certification from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: BLS and CPR certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Reliability: Ability to adhere to strict schedules and demonstrate punctuality.
