Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, injections, and ECG procedures
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor surgical procedures
- Manage patient records using Epic EHR systems with HIPAA compliance
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and examination rooms
- Collect and process laboratory specimens accurately
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medication instructions
- Schedule appointments and handle administrative tasks efficiently
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows
- Ohio state certification and CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
