Responsibilities
- Greet patients and verify personal information before check-in.
- Prepare examination rooms by arranging instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine analysis, and EKGs.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the provider.
- Manage patient charts and ensure accurate electronic health record (EHR) updates.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy clinical setting.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered attitude.
