Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with history taking and vital signs.
- Perform basic clinical duties including EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in our EMR system.
- Greet patients and manage front desk operations during shifts.
- Ensure the examination rooms are clean, stocked, and organized.
- Provide patient education regarding medications and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with EMR software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
