Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, phlebotomy, and EKGs as needed to support clinical workflows.
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in/check-out process efficiently to ensure a seamless experience.
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for provider visits, maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Assist providers with minor procedures and provide patient education on medications and wellness.
- Coordinate lab specimens, ensuring proper handling, labeling, and timely delivery.
- Handle phone inquiries and schedule appointments professionally.
Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate degree in Medical Assisting preferred.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required; NHA certification is a plus.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for healthcare providers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is highly desirable.
